Our hope is that this site will provide the answers to many of your questions regarding the services that the Police Department provides for the Davis community. However, it will never substitute for the value of person-to-person discourse. We will actively seek to create those opportunities and we invite you to help us improve the dialogue through your participation and seeking out opportunities as well.

Imagine waking up eagerly on Christmas morning to see what Santa has left for you under the tree only to find out that The Grinch had come by and stolen your truck from outside your house. Well, unfortunately, that was exactly what happened to one south Davis family this Christmas morning. The next day, Cpl. Ly came on duty, checked the “hot sheet” and made it his mission that shift to find this stolen truck. Within 30 minutes of checking, he found it abandoned still in south Davis. The elated owner was contacted and responded to take back his truck.

Did you know that you can also view the Davis PD “hot sheet”? Just visit our interactive webpage at https://dpd.crimegraphics.com and then click the “Stolen Vehicles” tab on the left to see all the outstanding stolen vehicles in Davis. While there, also check out all the other cool features to stay informed about what is going on in your neighborhood and the city.
