In September our department took a report of a vehicles window being smashed and entered. The suspects took a purse from the vehicle that contained checks and credit cards. The cards were attempted to be used in Portage, 30 minutes later. A few days later a female subject went to a bank in McFarland to cash a stolen check into our victims account. We learned the check was stolen from the State of Minnesota in the same type of manner. The check was written for $1,000 and the female received $600 cash. Our agency has been working with several law enforcement agencies throughout Wisconsin and outside of Wisconsin attempting to identify the subjects. During the investigation we have received information that these subjects have been doing these crimes all over the United States for several years. We are still actively working this case and will not stop until our victim gets the closure she deserves. This goes to show you that even in Lodi we are not immune to these types of crimes. Be vigilant, see something, say something. Take a look at the page that is being shared on the “Felony Lane Gang”.

Press Release
Our agency is attempting to identify the subject in the picture. We have received reports that he is placing an unknown substance down a drain near the intersection of Portage St. and Davis St. This is a clear violation of City ordinance . He was last seen leaving the city eastbound on Hwy 60 in what is described as a RV. Any information would be helpful.
