Over the years, thousands of South San Francisco residents have benefitted from participating in these PAL youth activities. We believe these youth sports/activities are crucial to the development of our community’s young boys and girls and gives them the great experience of being part of a team. The relationships and experiences they gain in having the opportunity to participate within youth activities can and will always be a positive part of their lives.

The South San Francisco PAL have facilitated youth involvement in activities such as; baseball, softball, roller skating, soccer, basketball, wrestling, gymnastics, band, bowling, small caliber rifle safety, target shooting competitions, football and our Police Explorer Program.

The PAL mission, in part, is to enhance the relationship that youngsters have with police officers and to help them learn valuable life lessons such as; sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, respect for others and friendship. These are all vital characteristics in the development of our citizens and future community leaders.
