There will be no trash or recycling pick up on Wednesday, January 17th. Trash and recycling bins need to be removed from the curb for snow removal. Pick up scheduled for Wednesday will be picked up on Thursday. Thursday and Friday’s scheduled pick up should be put out as usual, but there may be a delay.

Ansonia Man arrested for Shelton Burglaries

On 01/10/18 Shelton Police arrested 28 year old Andre Genest of Ansonia in connection with two burglaries which occurred in Shelton during the Fall of 2017.

Shelton Police quickly developed Genest as a suspect and were able to link him to the burglaries. Genest was charged with burglary and larceny charges in connection to the Shelton incidents and placed on a total of $15,000.00 bond.
