From the West Haven Animal Shelter:

The West Haven Animal Shelter would like to take this opportunity to thank the public for the many donations over the past year.
This is a municipal shelter dedicated to servicing the public as it relates to animal issues.
Animal Control Officers respond to calls when public safety is an issue.

We provide for and protect abandoned, abused, neglected, and unwanted animals, as well as find qualified homes for adoptable
homeless companion animals that are temporary residents of our shelter.
We promote animal welfare through programs and services that mutually benefit animals and people.

The following are some of the highlights for the year ( 2017)
• Over 480 animals impounded
• Over 250 Animals adopted
• All animals adopted were Spayed or Neutered
• All animals adopted received microchips at no cost, these were purchased through public donations
• Hosted Rabies Clinic where more than 130 animals were vaccinated.

2017 was a very successful year and we wouldn’t be able to provide the services we do, without the publics help and generous donations.

So Thank You from the grateful staff of the West Haven Animal Shelter
