Bolingbrook Police hosted their 19th Annual Shop with a Cop program at Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Rd. Over 100 Bolingbrook children were treated to a $75 shopping spree courtesy of Meijer. This positive outreach program enables officers to interact with area youth and establish a rapport with each participant. The event truly enhances the holiday spirit within the Bolingbrook community.

Director Ken Teppel and Deputy Chief Mike Rompa attended the HEART Organization graduation on Friday, December 8, 2017. Judge Ben Braun and Director Teppel were guest speakers. The graduates were commended on their accomplishment and encouraged to utilize the guidance they have been awarded through the program as they move forward as young adults. The HEART is a life changing intervention program which assists youth who are at risk.
