We want to take a moment to recognize Sergeant Gordon “Trey” Bargas III who just retired after 20 years of service to BRPD and the Baton Rouge Community!
Throughout his time with our department, Sgt Bargas has worked in Uniform Patrol, Traffic Division, Mayor Security, and in the Operational Services Bureau.
Sgt. Bargas was a graduate of the 60th BTA. Thoughout his career, Sgt Bargas has recieved numerous letters of commendation.
We are so thankful for his tremendous dedication to serving our community and all the contributions he has made to the betterment of Baton Rouge!
Sgt. Trey Bargas, we wish you all the best in your retirement!

Sgt Munoz also talked about the importance of maintaining a proper vehicle and what to do during a traffic stop.

Sgt. Munoz is a supervisor who currently works in the DWI Task Force Division.

Chief Paul is attending the United States Conference of Mayors and Police Chiefs.

Law Enforcement, Community Leaders and concerned citizens came together this evening and walked the city streets in the Gus Young area during the 5th “Community Canvas” effort.

The participants included BRPD; EBRSO; District Attorney Hillar Moore, his staff; Councilman LaMont Cole and a host of community activists.

We had a great time serving food, refreshments and interacting with the Gus Young Community.
