NICE WORK, CENTER CITY UNIT!

On January 11, 2018, officers with GPD’s Center City Unit conducted a search warrant at 207 S. Warren Street. The search, which was the conclusion of a three-month-long narcotics trafficking investigation, resulted in the seizure of a total of 73 grams of cocaine, 11 grams of marijuana, numerous items of drug paraphernalia, $2,290 in U.S. currency, 12 gold and silver coins/bars, and stolen street signs.

19-year-old William Mann was arrested and charged with the following as a result of the investigation:

• Trafficking Cocaine
• Felony Maintain a Dwelling
• Felony Maintain a Vehicle
• Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia
• Simple Possession of Schedule VI
• Possess Drug Paraphernalia
• Possess Malt beverage or Unfortified Wine by 19/20
• Misdemeanor Larceny

He was booked into the Pitt County Detention Center under a $52,000 bond.

Three others in the house, 20-year-old Owen Wilkinson, 20-year-old Robert Crone Jr., and 20-year-old Pearce Martin, were also cited for numerous controlled substance and ABC violations by North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement. In addition, Crone was cited by the Greenville Police Department for possession of drugs and stolen goods.

11:30 PM ORIGINAL POST:

Greenville police officers are in the process of getting a Silver Alert issued for a mentally disabled man last seen earlier today.

34-year-old Emmanuel Kennedy was reported missing late this evening. Mr. Kennedy was last seen this morning at 11:30 standing by the corner of 5th and Laurel Streets. He has cognitive impairments, is non-verbal and is unfamiliar with the area, as he has only lived in Greenville for approximately three months.

Mr. Kennedy is 5’8,” 200 pounds, and has short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, brown shirt, black jogging pants and white shoes.

Mr. Kennedy has family in the Cambria Drive and Winding Branches Drive neighborhoods. It is possible that he is trying to travel to these neighborhoods or has gotten lost in the TRUNA area.
