Today we kicked off Project Trust, several Officers went to Hale & Memorial H.S. In this program we are given the opportunity to interact with several high school kids and share each other’s perspectives on modern policing and how we can improve our relationship with them. https://t.co/1EN4QK4qI9

Tulsa Police Department added 7 new photos — with Jim Isgrig.22 hours ago

Today Officer James “Jim” Isgrig is retiring from the department after dedicating 35 years with the Tulsa Police Department. Jim graduated from the Central Missouri State University with a degree in Criminal Justice and chose TPD as the place to spend the rest of his law enforcement career.

Jim was given the Life Saving Award twice and was also awarded the Medal of Valor.

He has accumulated so many commendations, it would take volumes to discuss them all. The second photo here illustrates the numerous accolades Jim has received in his time with us.

Jim was involved with the D.A.R.E and G.R.E.A.T. program, worked in our Special Investigations Division, worked on many task forces, spent time in investigations, and was the Elks Lodge Officer of the year.

Tomorrow Officer Jim Isgrig will be officially retired, but he’s not slowing down. You can catch him playing the drums with his band Risky Business.

Jim, thank you for your many years of dedicated service to the department and the citizens of Tulsa, you will be missed.
