Shockingly, I was not inundated with RSVP’s for traffic school. I guess I should have said I’ll be throwing ramen noodles to those who answer questions right during the class. There is still space, RSVP – jjoubert@bountifulutah.gov https://t.co/ja4eksqutD

You can place your flag there and a scout group will collect them and dispose of them properly.

The box is so nice I (Joubert) though it was a permanent fixture owned by the city at first. Congratulations on your recognition during council meeting Christopher!

Shockingly, I was not inundated with RSVP’s for traffic school. I guess I should have mentioned that I’ll be throwing packages of Ramen Noodles to those who answer questions right during the class.

Anyway, if you missed the first post or were debating attending, you can still RSVP, we have spots… jjoubert@bountifulutah.gov

I will be teaching traffic school this month on Thursday the 19th at 7 PM. In previous classes we have been asked if parents could send their kids to traffic school just as a learning experience. It seemed like a good idea, so this month’s class is open to teen drivers. Parents, feel free to send them down to the station or even accompany them yourselves.

BUT… attending on your own will not count in the future. Meaning if you get a citation and qualify for traffic school, you will still have to take the course again to satisfy the requirements to have it held in abeyance.

We talk about aggressive, distracted, impaired, and defensive driving, the most common violations, local cases, and more! I also tell a few stories and answer as many questions as people have at the end.

All you need to do is RSVP by email so I know how many people will be coming. The room only holds so many people, so it’s a first come first serve basis. Although I don’t think I’m popular enough to sell out traffic school…lol.

If you have an old American flag that you need to have retired and disposed of properly, you can thank a young man named Christopher. As an Eagle Scout project he created a drop box that was placed in the west lobby of city hall. You can place your flag there and a scout group will collect them and dispose of them properly.

The box looks so good, I (Joubert) I assumed it was a permanent fixture owned by the city at first! A fitting place for a flag to await it’s retirement. Congratulations on your recognition during council meeting Christopher!

This man is a suspect in a credit card fraud case. If you recognize him please call 801-298-6000 or reach us on social media. The victim still had their card, so it is believed the card was cloned. Suspects of card cloning fraud operations are typically traveling while they commit their crimes, but we’re hoping someone recognizes him. Reference case 2018-001043 when you call.
